Thursday 3rd August - Walsall Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Walsall Thursday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance barring a late cancellation from Unprotected Cesc who return to action on 10th August.


In the Premier League division, the opening week showcased some scintillating matches that left spectators on the edge of their seats. Taccy Rumpas Fc took on Bryan Munich in a fiercely contested match, with Bryan Munich emerging as the victors with an impressive 4-1 scoreline. Both teams displayed their prowess on the pitch, but it was Bryan Munich who found the back of the net more frequently, securing a convincing win as they look to retain their title.


Schmeichel Jackson faced off against Budgie Neck, and the match turned out to be a goal-fest, with both teams firing on all cylinders. In a thrilling encounter, Budgie Neck emerged victorious with a narrow 5-4 win, showcasing their attacking prowess and resilience in the face of a determined Schmeichel Jackson side.


In another exciting match in the Premier League division, Fatzio FC squared off against Ezri Come Ezri Go. Fatzio FC put in an impressive performance and managed to secure a 4-2 victory. The clash was a testament to the competitive nature of the league, with both teams exhibiting their skills and determination on the field.


As the season is just beginning, it is too early to predict the front-runners for the league title, but these opening week matches have provided a glimpse of the talent and competitiveness that the Walsall Thursday Football League has to offer.
