It was a good evening's football in the Walsall Oak Park Thursday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance and braving the conditions to get their weekly football fix!
Old House UTD suffered a tough defeat to the well-organized Boys In Dahoud, who outpaced their opponents in a 6-3 victory. Dahoud's attacking formation seemed utterly unstoppable, showcasing some of the best teamwork and technique we've seen this season.
Puyol Pants Down, in an impressive display of dominance, breezed past Smack My Pitch Up, with a decisive 5-1 victory. Their offensive prowess was on full display as they ran rampant over their rivals, asserting their place in the division as a useful addition on only their second week.
In what was undoubtedly the nail-biter of the evening, Taccy Rumpas FC edged out a 2-1 victory against Ligma Balls FC. The latter put up a brave fight, but Rumpas FC's defensive solidity ultimately won the day.
Finally, Schmeichel Jackson triumphed over Manor Mandem FC in a 3-1 showdown. Jackson's strategic play and lethal finishing proved too much for Mandem FC to handle, securing their victory.
We wish all teams good luck as we head into game week 11 of the season with Walsall's premier providers of small sided football!
