WEEKLY UPDATE FROM THE WALSALL THURSDAY LEAGUE 16TH MAY

Another excellent evening in the Walsall Thursday 6 aside league held at Oak Park Active Living Centre with all teams once again in attendance and everything running smoothly.

Leavemywartsalona remain at the top of the premier division but are joined on 15 points by their opponents Pelsall this week as they gained a crucial 2-0 victory as they target the title. WLV FC remain in third place but lost ground on the top two as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Welch Wanderers.

Division one saw Xavi Dodgers continue to lead the table by one point as they put six past Stroke City without reply and remain unbeaten. Blackcountry Lads head the chasing back as they gained a crucial 3-1 win over Six Offenders FC. AFC Bagheads lie 3 points behind in third place even though they gained a closely fought 2-1 victory over Lights Kamara Action.
