In the latest round of Telford Sunday's 6-a-side Football League, fierce competition and stunning performances were the order of the day. With only two weeks left in the season, teams are giving their all to secure their place for the next season.
In the Premier League division, a thrilling match between Polonia Telford FC and Jelly Baby FC ended in a 1-1 draw. It was a crucial game with both teams displaying exceptional skills and determination. The only goal for Jelly Baby FC was scored by Josh, who delivered an all round excellent performance.
Moving on to Division 1, the night was full of surprises. Inter The Pub faced a tough loss against Real Estates with a final score of 5 2. Doubles from both Sean and Dan secured the points with Dan and Ben replying for Inter.
Blue Balls FC also succumbed to Tea and Busquets, losing by 5 goals to 3. The star of the show was Busquets captain Ben Keates who scored a terrific hat-trick, leading his team to victory and earning the title of the Division 1 top scorer for the week. Adam also impressed with a clinical brace as Busquets kept up their recent strong run. Ryan, Joe and Matt struck back for Blue Balls who couldn't quite match their opponents on the night.
The Ercall Ultras kept up their impressive form with a 4-1 victory over The Dogs Ballacks. Doubles from James and Sam secured the points with Josh grabbing a goal back for Ballacks.
