In a thrilling showdown, the Telford Sunday 6 a side Football League marched into its fourth week, delivering a spectacle of talent and strategy. The Premier League and Division 1 teams clashed on the field, with some surprising results.

In the Premier League division, champions Rowdy FC triumphed over league leaders POLONIA TELFORD FC with a close score of 2-1 in the battle of the top two. A strong performance from "The Rowdy Boys" ensured they drew first blood in the first big clash of the season. Goals from the Impressive Matteo and superb captain Marco  were enough to edge out Polonia who replied through Marcin K.

Meanwhile, The Bailiffs FC played out an entertaining 2-2 draw against Hardly Learning FC, with neither team managing to do quite enough for victory. Bailiffs started strong, racing into an early lead but Hardly came roaring back with goals from Luca and Harry. Both sides will be keen to kick on in the upcoming games following slow starts to their respective campaigns.

In Division 1, the games were equally intense. Inter The Pub clinched their first win in 3 games with a strong 2-0 triumph over Tea And Busquets. It was a welcome clean sheet for Inter who have struggled defensively in recent weeks. Captain Anthony and his side will now look to gain momentum in the coming weeks to push back up the table. For Tea and Busquets it was an off night as they struggled to finish the attacking moves they put together.

In another entertaining match, The Dogs Ballacks pulled off a resounding 6-0 victory over Pretty In Pink, which was undoubtedly the most  emphatic win of the week. Jack Lovett and Josh Smart from The Dogs Ballacks impressed, scoring hat-tricks and securing their side a handsome victory. Pretty in Pink never got going in this one and will look to bounce back next week.

UNATHLETIC BILBAO dominated their game against new boys The Ercall Ultras with a 5-1 victory. A goal from Tom and doubles from Liam and Brad gave their side the points with Ultras not quite up to speed in their first league match, For Bilbao, it was another indication of their promotion credentials as they kept up the pressure on Sunday Sixes at the top of the table.

Finally, Real Estates suffered a 0-3 defeat to league leaders, Sunday Sixes. A brace from John and a well-taken Jimmy strike was enough to give the older statesmen of the league a fourth straight victory. Estates showed great determination throughout and continue to improve their performances as a new side in the league.

As the league progresses, the level of competition is expected to rise. It will be interesting to see if these top performers continue their dominance in the coming weeks. With 4 games gone, Rowdy FC sit 2 points clear at the top of the Premier Division with Polonia Telford and Blocko FC just behind. Sunday Sixes top Division 1 with Bilbao occupying the 2nd promotion spot.
