It was a fantastic evening of football at Telford Leisure Leagues on Sunday which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled with exception of Cornyhunts FC who will return to competitive action next week
In the Premier League, the week kicked off with Bukovina delivering a 5-1 defeat to Scrambled Legs. Continuing with the trend of decisive victories, Unathletic Bilbao shut out Real Sosobad with a 3-0 scoreline, leaving no doubt about their intent to contend. The clash of Wheelchair Wanderers and Jelly Baby FC resulted in a high-scoring spectacle, ending 6-4 in favour of Wheelchair Wanderers. Tyler from Wheelchair Wanderers topped the division's scoreboard with six goals, showcasing a great performance and a testament to his team's offensive prowess.
Switching gears to Division 1, Blue Balls FC secured a resounding 6-1 triumph over Rampart Raiders, while Tea and Busquets enjoyed a 3-0 victory over Inter The Pub. Bongo Locos FC saw a narrow defeat at the hands of Immi FC, with a scoreline of 1-2. It was Ben W from Blue Balls FC who stood out as the top scorer, netting three goals.
Moving on to Division 2, Athletic Dildao faced a tough game against Real Sosogood and suffered a heavy 2-9 defeat. Real Sosogood's Jack Beech shined as the top scorer with three goals.
