Exciting Football Unfolds at Telford Sunday League

It was a fantastic evening of action in our Telford Sunday League which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled. We were delighted to welcome AVE IT FC to the league who made a winning start in their debut.

In the Premier League division, the highlight of the evening was the clash between Wheelchair Wanderers and Bukovina. In a nail-biting match, Wheelchair Wanderers narrowly edged out their opponents with a final score of 2-1. Meanwhile, the match between Jelly Baby FC and UNATHLETIC BILBAO ended in a stalemate with a 0-0 scoreline, whereas Real Sosobad was bested by Scrambled Legs with a 2-0 score. The Premier League's star performer was Dan who managed to net two goals for Scrambled Legs, earning him the title of top scorer for the week.

Over in Division 1, Bongo Locos FC triumphed over Blue Balls FC in a high-scoring match with a 7-1 victory. Immi FC and Tea And Busquets drew level at 2-2 while Inter The Pub overwhelmed Rampart Raiders with a 7-4 win. Santos from Inter The Pub became the week's top scorer, scoring an impressive four goals.

In Division 2, Ave It United silenced Athletic Dildao with a 3-0 win, while TTFC and Real Sosogood shared points in a 1-1 draw. Taylor Finnegan from Ave It United stood out as the division's top scorer, contributing two goals to his team's victory.

With the season in full swing, the Telford Sunday Football League continues to provide thrilling matches week after week, showcasing the best local talent across its divisions. As the teams gear up for week 10, fans eagerly await another round of high-octane football action.
