In the blistering action of the Telford Sunday 6 a side Football league, week 6 did not disappoint the fans as they bore witness to some exceptional performances.
Leaders Rowdy FC and The Colonels treated us to an end-to-end classic in the Premier League division, with Rowdy emerging triumphant with a slender 4-3 victory. The success was primarily credited to their star player, Callum Knowles, who stole the limelight with a brilliant hat trick. A further goal from Matteo was enough to gain a narrow win with Harvey, Denzel and Henry grabbing goals for the dangerous Colonels.
Another Premier League encounter saw resurgent Hardly Learning FC cruise past Blocko FC with an impressive 4-0 scoreline. A splendid treble from star striker Andy meant they had too much for their opponents with Ethan adding to the scoreline.
With 6 games gone, current champions Rowdy FC remain top with Polonia Telford poised menacingly only 2 points behind.
In Division 1, the stand-out performance was from Inter The Pub, who dominated Real Estates with a 7-0 victory. A virtuoso performance from the classy Guus, who netted three goals, set the tone with further goals from Ben, Cam and a well-taken double from Lewis.
Elsewhere, league leaders UNATHLETIC BILBAO edged past Tea And Busquets 2-0 with strikes from Liam and Brad. The result leaves them top on goal difference with second placed, Sunday Sixes snapping at their heels. In their match, they who comfortably outplayed Pretty In Pink with a 5-1 scoreline.
