In a thrilling week of action in the Telford Sunday 6-a-side Football League,  teams fought tooth and nail in their ninth and penultimate week of the season.

The Premier League saw an intense showdown between Hardly Learning FC and POLONIA TELFORD FC, which ended in a nail-biting 2-2 draw. Goals from Piotrek and Krzysztof for Polonia and Shippo and Andy for Hardly meant that both sides had to settle for a point on this occasion.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Inter The Pub triumphed over Blue Balls FC in a closely contested match ending 2-1. Ethan and Santos struck for Inter with Lewis replying for Blue Balls as Inter grabbed a morale boosting victory.

Elsewhere in the division, already promoted Real Estates dominated The Ercall Ultras with a convincing 4-0 victory, undoubtedly bolstering their confidence for their upcoming Premier League campaign. Star stiker Sean helped himself to a double as Estates showcased the form that has seen them promoted as champions. The result leaves Ercall Ultras needing to avoid defeat next week to ensure promotion themselves.

In another intense face-off, Tea And Busquets edged out The Dogs Ballacks 3-2. In an entertaining affair, Collins stole the spotlight, netting two goals for The Dogs Ballacks. With Busquets Callum Richardson also shining with a double of his own. The narrow victory leaves Busquets needing a handsome win next week and an Ercall Ultras defeat for them to gain promotion.

In summary, this week’s matches brought high adrenaline, fierce competition, and stellar individual performances. As we move into the tenth and final week, all teams will be looking to build on their momentum in their quest for divisional supremacy.
