Grimsby Sunday 6-a-side League update: Champions crowned

Grimsby's Sunday 6-a-side league was full of goals this week. The season came to a conclusion with Peaky Ben Der deservedly prevailing with the league title, having gone through the season unbeaten and only dropping points twice. 

The champions were handed a 5-0 walkover in the final round of fixtures against FatNLazy FC, who ended the season in third. International secured second on the table with a convincing 4-1 away win against Benchwarmers FC.

Leroys FC had a frustrating night, as Fill My Wycombe managed to hold on to their 1-0 lead in a tight contest. The result left Leroys FC second from the bottom.  

Tinpot United were edged out at home by bottom-placed Club Tropicana Drinks FC. The latter finally got their first win of the campaign, going out on a positive note.
