Play in the Oldham Tuesday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

For football fans in the Oldham area, the latest weekly update from the local 6-a-side football league has just been released, and it's safe to say that there were some cracking matches played.

In the Premier League division, Madelene Milan took a narrow 4-3 victory over Bassett 6, while Green Army struggled to keep up with Mac Attack, ultimately losing 2-7. Meanwhile, Gnome FC secured a resounding 5-0 win over The Cheros FC, who also drew 0-0 against Pennine Care FC.

Over in the Division 1 league, Below Average Fc proved anything but, scoring an impressive 7 goals to Sports Leaders' 1. Nuthurst Lads also drew 1-1 against Council Cowboys, with Real Sosobad falling to a 2-3 defeat at the hands of Curry FC. Finally, Rickys Under 18s lost out to Barely Athletic with a scoreline of 3-4.

In Division 2, MP Boys played well but ultimately lost out to Borussia Teeth with a final score of 4-6, while Red Line FC could not keep up with the formidable Shaw Athletic, who took a convincing 15-1 win.

It was a great week of football overall, but the standout player of the week was undoubtedly Joseph Lennon from Council Cowboys, who was crowned the most valued player. With such an impressive performance, Lennon is sure to be one to watch in upcoming matches.
