Weekly update from NEW Over 35's Friday league!

It was great to see our 4 new teams kick the season off with plenty of goals on display! Well done to Queen's Park Strangers, Eaton Socon Veterans, Glyfi Pleasures and Dynamo Chicken Kiev on their first fixtures of the season.

Premier Division

Glyfi Pleasures ran by captain Rob Goldstone took on Eaton Socon Veterans overseen by captain Steve Sandford, in a tough first outing for Glyfi. The Eaton Socon veterans ran riot with 5 goals from Dan Kennedy, a hattrick from Bryan Portway and a goal each for Adam Cummings and Richard Ward. Steve Wood bagged two in reply for Glyfi as it finished 10-2 to Eaton Socon Veterans to get their first points on the board.

Queen's Park Strangers run by captain Lee Hair took on Dynamo Chicken Kiev overseen by captain Nick Kelly in the second game of the night and the plaudits have to go to the Strangers as they dispatched Dynamo Chicken Kiev. 5 goals for Aaron Bumstead, a Jamie Henman and Alex Aldridge double saw them take the points in an emphatic 9-0 win.
