St Neots Monday 6 a side league update 24th June

Another good evening of 6 aside football in our St Neots Monday league despite Theodorables having to cancel late on the day but they have already confirmed that this was a one off and they will be there for the next round of fixtures. We also had a non attendance from Two Foot FC and as they are struggling for a team, they have now been removed from the league. However, we do have a team taking their place called Ferric Cantona, so we would like to welcome them to the league and wish them luck for the remainder of the season.

The league saw DCDC FC put on a clinical display against New Boys FC, firing 9 goals past their rivals to secure a commanding 9-3 victory. Tekkerslovakia, on the other hand, faced a tough challenge against Law Abiding Sigurdssons, with the latter emerging victorious with an impressive 8-3 scoreline. Among the standout performers was Kieron from Law Abiding Sigurdssons, who lit up the league with a stellar hat-trick securing his position as the top scorer for the week in the Premier League.

Over in Division 1, the games were equally competitive and thrilling. Aston Villagers edged past Ivel Valley with a 2-1 victory, while Kouyate Kids managed to secure a narrow win against Inter Yournan with the same scoreline. However, the spotlight was stolen by Cunning Stunts, who dominated Only Fools And Ballers with an astounding 8-0 triumph. Salad Munchers FC also endured a defeat against ATG No Idea FC, ending the game 4-1 in favor of the latter.

Leading the goal tally in Division 1 was Sam Evans from Cunning Stunts, who netted an exceptional total of 4 goals, etching his name as the top scorer of the week in Division 1.

The week 11 of the St Neots Monday League has surely set the stage on fire by offering a brilliant display of footballing prowess from all participating teams in both divisions. The forthcoming weeks promise more amazing football action, as the teams continue their quest for glory.
