The penultimate week of the season at 6 a side St Neots

It was great to see all teams bar one in attendance with an England fixture on the same day, but a shame to hear of a fine given for one Dolce & Lallana player. Dangerous play will not be accepted or tolerated at our leagues and anyone found to be doing this will be removed.

Premier Division

KRbodge kicked us off with a 5-0 points match win against SMD who were unable to fulfil a team for the fixture bringing them up to two wins on the board.

In our second fixture of the night, Dolce & Lallana took on Tekkerslovakia in what became a feisty fixture alongside the weather conditions. Two goals for Ewan Andrews and a booking for Alfie saw Dolce & Lallana come out second as a hat-trick for Dan Ellis, one for Rueben Snooks and one for Harry Dynes saw Tekkerslovakia win 5-2.

DCDC FC took on Aston Villagers in our last game of the night hoping to keep up their chase of Tekkerslovakia at the top. Two goals for team captain Sully and two for Nathan put them out of reach for Aston Villagers, who managed one in reply from Alex Le Frenais in a 4-1 win for DCDC.

Division One

Our first game of the night in Division One was between two longstanding members of the league, Inter Yournan and The Kiddos. Inter Yournan looked to continue their lead at the top with goals from Jack Hall, Jordon Holdaway and Jordan whilst James and Charlie White got one back each for The Kiddos, meaning Inter Yournan came out 3-2 winners.

Our second fixture of the night was Law Abiding Sigurdssons against New Boys. Two goals for Oliver Wilson and one each for James Geary, Ben Stokes and Evan Walker saw the Siggy train march on as a goal each for Jake Powell and Jez Huggins could not stop them in a 5-2 loss for New Boys.

ATG No Idea FC took on Grop United in a tough clash with ATG struggling with a bare 6. Goals for Rhys Sandford, Ryan Barnett and Ed Martin saw Grop United take the points in a 3-1 win, with a consolation goal from Ben Butterwick.
