Another excellent round of fixtures this game week at our St Neots 6 a side league with Leisure Leagues. Once again, with important fixtures across the board, all teams were in attendance for some fantastic football.
The Kiddos featuring first again for the second week in a row faced off against a Law Abiding Sigurdssons side who were coming off the back of a loss last week. Ben Albone certainly made the difference with a sublime hat-trick, whilst two goals in reply from Connor Sharp and Fabio Cresci could not stop Sigurdssons from coming out victors in a 3-2 win.
Inter Mynan had a recent boost from the physio table with returning captain Josh Osborne taking to the field, however, this could not stop a dominant DCDC FC side with Sully scoring all five goals in a 5-0 win, to keep up the chase to be the top goal scorer for the league
Dolce & Lallana led the Leisure Leagues St Neots Premier Division prior to GW9, but two goals from Alex La Frenais meant that they were 2-0 down at half-time. A spirited second half performance with goals from Alfie and Patrick Nowinski meant that they levelled the game and drew 2-2.
There was a whole host of goals in our final fixture between Inter Yournan and Priory, with Priory running away with the game 6-3. Archie Jones, Luke Fox and leading goal scorer Kyle Morris all picking up two goals.
We are now in the process of starting a new division for next season, so if you have any queries or questions about the league, please contact your local area manager Conor Murphy on 07360 497281, or via email at [email protected]
