WOLVERHAMPTON MONDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 11TH JULY 22

All the latest news for the Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side League is direct from Our Lady & St Chad Sport's Academy.

A brilliant night of 6-a-side football in the Wolverhampton Monday League at Our Lady & St Chad Sport's Academy with all teams in attendance as expected.

It was also great to welcome not one but two new teams as we welcome 'Touch Of A Minor' and 'Newhampton FC' to the league for the first time. They both put in two very good performances and will be looking to build on this in the weeks to come. Good luck moving forward in the league!

The game of the night saw tough competition in what has been a rivalry at the league as 'Unathletic Madrid' beat 'Dangerous Darren' 2-1 in a thrilling game that saw only one goal split the teams in the final minutes of the game. This included an excellent solo performance from Hubert Serafin as he scored 2 goals to secure the win. As they have finally been able to overcome there rivals are 'Unathletic Madrid FC' the ones to watch for the season as they are now the league leaders three games in.

Team of the evening who were by far clear of any opposition as newcomers 'A Touch Of A Minor' managed to win in a one-sided game which included 2 hattricks from two different players (Jordan Dawson, Zac Davis). With this dominant display can they continue this form next week against 'FC Springhill' and continue to climb the table in the process.
