WOLVERHAMPTON MONDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 18TH JULY 22

All the latest news for the Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side League is direct from Our Lady & St Chad Sport's Academy.

A brilliant night of 6-a-side football in the Wolverhampton Monday League. 

Unfortunately we had some cancellations in regards to the hot temperatures but all teams have confirmed there return for this week. It is paramount all teams are there each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if you have any problems be sure to contact your area manager.

In more positive news, the league is also delighted to announce a BRAND NEW DIVISION ONE starting this week. We look forward to seeing how all the new teams get on!

We move to the league itself and the sun was shining in await of some excellent football to be delivered and it did not disappoint on Monday. The game of the evening was a 4-3 victory for 'Unathletic Madrid FC' over 'FC Mil Funters'. This game resulted in an extremely tight finish that neither team could've predicted which way it was going to turn. A brace from 'Unathletic Madrid FC's' Josh Bell was enough to secure the win. Unbeaten to start the season 'Unathletic Madrid FC' are looking to go one step further than they have in the last two seasons with Leisure Leagues.

Following this performance 'Unathletic Madrid FC' are also our team of the week. As we near halfway in this division can they keep the form up and stay top when they face 'FC Springhill' next week?
