A brilliant night of 6 a side football in the Wolverhampton Monday League at Our Lady & St Chad Sport's Academy with all teams in attendance as expected.

Game of the night this week in the Premier League goes to the game between 'Sean Dyche Brexit Ball FC' and 'FC Mil Funters'. A fantastic performance from 'FC Mil Funters' meant they ran out 4-3 winners to start the season two wins from two. Are they ones to watch for the season ahead as they are top after week two.

Division One game of the night was the game between 'TT Elite' and 'Wolves Nations FC'. Two similarly able teams that fought hard for a win but it was 'TT Elite' who were able to come out 2-1 winners and climb to top of the table in the process and the only unbeaten side left in the division. The league looks forward to seeing how these two teams fair when the two meet again later in the season.

Division Two game of the night was the game between 'Bushbury Hill FC' and 'FC Springhill'. Two similarly able teams looking to settle into the new season but it was 'Bushbury Hill FC' who came away with the 3-1 win in the end. Second and one of two unbeaten teams to start the season are 'Bushbury Hill FC' ones to watch in this Division?

'Murder on Zidane's Floor' are our team of the week with their dominant performance over 'The Way'. 100% record for the team so far in Division Two and they go into the bank holiday Monday full of confidence for the next game, can they keep there unbeaten start going?

The league is now off for this next Bank Holiday Monday 29th May 2023, and will resume the week after on Monday 5th June 2023 as the centre is closed this week. We would like to wish everyone involved with the league a great bank holiday weekend and see you all on the 5th.
