WOLVERHAMPTON MONDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 26TH SEPTEMBER

A brilliant night of 6 a side football in the Wolverhampton Monday League at Our Lady & St Chad Sport's Academy. Unfortunately, there were a couple of non-attendances on the night, the league will be in contact with all teams in question and confirm their return this week. It is paramount all teams are present every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if any teams are having any problems, then please do not hesitate to contact your Area Manager at the earliest convenience.

In more positive news, game of the night this week in the Premier League goes to the game between 'Lage Lads' and 'Khalsa FC'. A fantastic performance from 'Lages Lads' meant they ran out 3-0 winners after the high their opponents had followed the first round of games. Two wins out of two mean that 'Lages Lads' go into a game against 'FC Mil Funters' full of confidence and looking to build on the fine start they have had.

Division One game of the night was the game between 'Bandits FC' and 'Red Dragons'. Two similarly able teams that fought hard for a win but it was 'Red Dragons' who were able to come out 3-1 winners and climb the table in the process. The league looks forward to seeing how these two teams fair when the two meet again later in the season.

'Bosted Utd' are our team of the week with their dominant performance over 'Barely Athletic' this week. One of two teams unbeaten so far in Division One with them and 'Filey' facing each other next week, who's unbeaten start to the season will continue into week three?
