A brilliant first night of the league in the Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side League with all teams in attendance as expected. It was great to welcome the five new teams as all games were played in good spirits and to a high standard. We wish all teams the best of luck in the season ahead.

The game of the week this week goes to the closely fought game between 'FC Springhill' and 'Khalsa FC', a close and tight affair between two teams that will run each other close every time they play. 'FC Springhill' ran out 1-0 winners on the first night of the league running and will go into week two full of confidence and looking to build on this brilliant start.

Team of the week this week are early league leaders 'Dangerous Darren'. A fine performance after the first week means they are the ones to watch even at this early stage. An early top of the table clash clash sees 'Dangerous Darren' against 'FC Springhill' next week, who will come out on top?
