WOLVERHAMPTON MONDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 8TH AUGUST 22

A brilliant night of 6-a-side football in the Wolverhampton Monday League with all teams in attendance as expected.

Premier League game of the week was between 'FC Mil Funters' and newcomers 'Bigos Amigos' where there was a battle that went right down to the wire and resulted in a 3-2 victory to 'FC Mil Funters'. They showed their skill and ability which got them to this position during the game. 'Bigos Amigos' however impressed and will be looking to build on this as the new season is fast approaching.

Division One game of the week was a cracking 11-goal thriller and ended in a victory for 'Oldman Asthmatic' against 'Straight Outta Compton' 6-5. Both teams showed skilful attacking displays with goals being scored throughout the match but 'Oldman Asthmatic' were able to come away with the win. Two wins out of two to start there time in the league and three games left, can they keep the run going? 

The team of the week is given to 'Lages Lads' as they have gone top of Division One this week after their sensational victory against 'The Goonies' where the team showed top-class footballing ability. This included 4 goals from Fletcher Law! We look forward to seeing if they can continue this for the rest of the season as they go into a game against 'Yam Yam Army' this week.
