Wolverhampton Monday Football League Wraps Up Season with Exciting Week 10 Matches
Wolverhampton, England - It was an exhilarating night for football enthusiasts as the Wolverhampton Monday Football League concluded its season with a thrilling set of matches in Week 10. The league, consisting of four divisions - Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 - showcased intense competition and exceptional performances from the participating teams.
In the Premier League, Dangerous Darren battled it out with Filey in a closely contested encounter, with Dangerous Darren emerging victorious with a 3-2 scoreline. Meanwhile, FC Mil Funters put up a valiant effort against Bostin Bilston but fell short by a narrow margin, losing 2-3.
Division 1 witnessed another captivating match as Boca Seniors FC secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Pendeford Unathletic FC. With this win, Boca Seniors FC clinched the Division 1 title, finishing the season with an impressive 15 points and 7 wins.
The action-packed matches continued in Division 2, where Inter Row Z triumphed over The Way in a high-scoring affair, winning 6-4. FC Springhill demonstrated their dominance with an emphatic victory over KFC W1mbledon, while Murder On Zidanes Floor secured a slim 1-0 win over Bushbury Hill FC.
Division 3 witnessed a fantastic performance by Naija Football Club, who defeated Pendeford Athletic FC with a resounding 6-1 scoreline. Their consistent display led them to clinch the Division 3 title with 10 points and 5 wins.
As the final week of the Wolverhampton Monday Football League concluded, Bostin Bilston emerged as the champions of the Premier League, while Boca Seniors FC, Murder On Zidanes Floor, and Naija Football Club celebrated their victories in Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3, respectively.
On the night, game of the week was between Inter Row Z and The Way, who played out a 6-4 goal fest in division 2. It was attacking football that dominated this one, with Inter Row Z claiming the points.
Team of the week goes to FC Springhill who found their groove to end the season with a convincing 7-0 victory. They'll be hoping to take this momentum into next season where they'll be looking to finish higher up the table.
