In an electrifying climax to the Wolverhampton Monday 6 a side Football League, Smeggy CF and Straight Outta Compton netted victories in the Premier League and Division 1 respectively on the final week of the season.

Unfortunately we did have an incident on the night which left a player from Terrys Dogging Tales needing stitches in his head and to be rushed to hospital. This happened due to an unnecessary challenge by Liam White of 'Ruff Ryders FC' who pushed the player into the fence around the outside of the pitch. Due to the severity of the injuries and the carelessness one player showed another on the night the league has no choice but to fine Liam £50 and ban him permanently from the league as this kind of behaviour can not be tolerated at the leagues we operate. We wish the injured player involved a speedy recovery and hope that all players will bare this in mind when playing at the league in future.

In the Premier League clash, Smeggy CF delivered a masterstroke performance as they best Ruff Ryders FC with a staggering score line. With a season record of 12 wins and a total of 25 points, Smeggy CF emerged as the undisputed champions of the league.

The Division 1 games also saw a fair share of their thrill and spills. Straight Outta Compton narrowly edged past UnAthletico Madrid with a 2-1 victory, securing their place at the top of the Division 1. Their win was built on solid teamwork and strategic play, earning them 24 points with 11 wins for the season. Meanwhile, Inter Row Z and AFC Young Boysz locked horns in a pulsating battle that ended in a 1-1 draw.

As the season draws to a close, the celebrations for the victors will undoubtedly continue. The teams will now regroup, reassess and prepare for the next season, where new challenges and opportunities await.

The league is now OFF for bank holiday Monday and will return Monday 3rd June 2024 for the first games of the NEW SEASON. We wish all players, officials and there families a wonderful Bank holiday weekend and see you all when we return.
