Yesterday marked the eighth week of the highly anticipated Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side Football league, where teams battled it out in the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

Unfortunately, we did have a few non-attendances on the night, Three teams were not present for their games and we will be in contact with them this week in order to confirm their return for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

In the Premier League division, Mekelakeya FC held Gooners FC to a 1-1 draw in a game that showcased their skill and determination.

In Division 1, the competition heated up with KFC W1mbledon securing a 2-1 victory over AFC Young Boysz in a captivating match. However, the highlight of the division was the thrilling 3-3 draw between Two Girls One Klopp FC and Powder Rangers. Statan Ibrahimovic also edged past Any Holes A Goal FC 2-1 in a tight affair.

Division 2 witnessed an exciting 1-1 standoff between Punjab United and Paralympiacos.
