Football fever was at its peak last night at the Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side league as teams clashed for the ninth week of the season. The electric atmosphere was punctuated by adrenaline-pumping action across three divisions: Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

Unfortunately, there has been incidents at the league in the past couple of weeks where teams have been late or haven't turned up. Please make sure you are on time for your kick-offs so the league can run as smoothly as possible. Please also let your area manager know in reasonable time if there are any problems or questions to do with your team as it is important teams are there each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as it can.

In the Premier League, the Gooners FC, Mekelakeya FC and Interyourneto were able to make their mark and come away with wins on the night.

As for Division 1, the night was full of thrills and spills. AFC Young Boysz squared off against Two Girls One Klopp FC in a nail-biting match that resulted in a 2-1 victory for AFC Young Boysz. Another equally thrilling match saw Any Holes A Goal FC secure a 2-1 win over Powder Rangers. The night ended with a clean 1-0 victory for Statan Ibrahimovic against KFC W1mbledon.

Division 2 saw a masterclass from Punjab United, who steamrolled Highfields Honours FC with a impressive victory. Paralympiacos also put on a robust performance against Goofy Goobers FC, clinching a 5-0 victory.

The ninth week of the Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side league was indeed an exhibition of skill, strategy, and a testament to the spirit of football. As fans eagerly anticipate the next week's matches, the top scorers from each division will undoubtedly be the ones to watch.

We are also fully aware of the floodlight issue at the venue. It is a school problem and they know about it and are just waiting for a date from the contractors to come and fix the problem once i have that I will share that with you all.
