In a fitting climax to the Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side Football League season, an exhilarating week 10 of action saw Smeggy CF, KFC W1mbledon, and Paralympiacos emerge as champions of their respective divisions.

Unfortunately there was an incident on the night as a card had to be issued to a team. There was an incident where a player from Interyaneto, got sent off for violent conduct towards another player. Because of this, the player has been fined £20 and given a ban. This incident will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly each time they happen as it is not the league we want to promote at the venue.

In the Premier League division, Smeggy CF secured the title with an emphatic 6-2 victory over Mekelakeya FC, finishing the season with a total of 17 points and eight wins. Interyaneto also triumphed against Thimphu City with an emphatic win.  

The Division 1 title went to KFC W1mbledon, who romped to victory with a great win against Any Holes A Goal FC. Securing a tally of 16 points and seven victories, W1mbledon demonstrated a great display of football throughout the season. Two Girls One Klopp FC also played out a stalemate 0-0 draw against Statan Ibrahimovic, while AFC Youngboysz and Powder Rangers also drew finishing 2-2.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, Paralympiacos claimed the title, finishing with 11 points and five wins after their 4-1 win against Highfields Honours FC. 

As the final whistle blew on this season, fans and players alike reflected on a season marked by thrilling matches, top-class performances, and unforgettable moments. As the teams look ahead to the next season, they will be hoping to replicate or better their performances and continue delivering entertaining football for their supporters.
