Play in the Wolverhampton Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues
The Wolverhampton Monday Night 6-a-side Football League reached its 6th week with some thrilling matches in both the Premier League and Division 1. The league continues to raise the bar in terms of competitive sporting action, with each team striving to outdo the other and leave their mark.
Unfortunately there was an incident on the night as a ban had to be issued to a player. Tristan Dixon of Two Girls One Klopp FC has been banned for two weeks due to his conduct towards staff members on the night, which the area manager has dealt with. This incident will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly each time they happen as it is not the league we want to promote at the venue.
In the Premier League, 6ixers FC managed to eke out a narrow victory against AFC Young Boysz with a 1-0 scoreline. A riveting match between Two Girls One Klopp FC and Red Lion FC ended in a 2-2 draw, whereas an exciting fixture saw KFC W1mbledon edge out Bostin Bliston with a 4-3 finish.
Meanwhile, the Division 1 matches were just as intense. Gumtree Belfast managed to secure a clean sheet with a 2-0 win over Grovesnor VI. Tamworth Tigers roared to a impressive victory against Woefulhampton FC. Pathetic Athletic FC recorded an impressive 4-0 win over Powder Rangers.
As the Wolverhampton Monday Football league progresses, the excitement reaches new heights. With the top scorers and MVPs displaying exhilarating performances, the anticipation for the coming weeks is palpable. The teams, with their competitive spirit and determination, promise to deliver more thrilling matches in the weeks to come.
