Oxford Monday Football League's week two results are in and there have been some thrilling and high-scoring matches throughout the divisions.
In the Premier League, drama unfolded when The Ninja Skrtels faced Baines On Toast. Trailing by a goal, The Ninja Skrtels managed to equalise, finally securing a victory in a nail-biting finale 7 - 6. The Dragon FC displayed an impressive performance against Curve Crusaders, dominating the match with a 10 - 2 win, while Stagecoach confidently defeated Misfits 4 - 1.
Division 1 saw Puyol Pants Down FC showing their championship potential, as they rolled past Bayer Nevelosen 4 - 1. The outstanding performance of the week, however, belongs to Henry Horton of Puyol Pants Down FC, who was crowned as the most valued player. OBUGAFC and Ladzio also claimed victories against Christ's Children FC and FC Copenbadly respectively.
In Division 2, Oxford Original beat Crystal Phallus 5 - 3, while there was a stalemate between Murder On Zidane's Floor and Al-Ettiket, the match ending 1 - 1. Misfits Reserves and Leicester United also shared the spoils, ending the match at 5 - 5.
Moving to Division 3, The Oxford Lads were defeated 3 - 6 by DClin Utd. The Incredible Sneijdermen were no match for 5 Man Step which won 6 - 2. The Holy Five displayed a great performance, scooping a 7 - 3 victory against Rebel FC.
The top scorers for each division will certainly be relishing their success, while the rest of the teams will be looking forward to week 3, aiming to improve their standings and performances.
