Oxford Monday's 5-a-side Football league returned with a bang last night as the second week of the season kicked off. The spirited teams from the Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 showed off their skills and tactics, resulting in some thrilling matches.
In the Premier League division, Misfits secured a promising 4-2 victory over Stevie B's Boys. Despite a tough fight, Stevie B's Boys fell short in the face of Misfits relentless attack. Meanwhile, Brazil Ballers lived up to their name, rolling over Ball Of Duty with a 5-2 win, showing off their superior ball handling and goal scoring abilities.
Moving to Division 1, Baines On Toast triumphantly toasted Holy Rollers with a 6-1 victory. The Pythonators managed to squeeze out a 2-0 win against Aint Got A Kalou, while FC Copenbadly dominated Puyol Pants Down FC with a 6-1 score, proving their prowess on the pitch.
In Division 2, the clash between The Old Boyz and 4 Man Squad was a close one, the former edging out a 4-3 victory. Trout FC netted a 4-2 win against The Nutrients, while 5 Offenders were narrowly defeated 2-1 by Invanity.
Finally, in Division 3, DClin Utd bolted past LIGHTNING BOLTS with a 4-1 victory. Rebel FC staged a rebellion against Casa Cowley, winning 4-1, while FC BANTERLONA were bested by PrinceOfWalesPlebs, who secured a 5-2 victory.
