New Newbury Monday 6 a side league kicks off!

In the vibrant world of 6-a-side football, a brand new Newbury Monday league kicked off its new season last night with a thrilling line-up of matches in the Premier League division. The start of what promises to be a competitive season saw teams go head to head, battling for the top spot and testing their strategies in the earliest phases of the league.

PREMIER LEAGUE

The Premier League witnessed a nail-biting draw between The Bootcamp and Class on Grass, both teams battling it out fiercely before settling at a 2-2 stalemate. Teddy Mackie from The Bootcamp stood out from the crowd, demonstrating exceptional skills on the field. His stellar performance earned him the title of the most valued player of the week, setting a high bar for the games to follow.

Team Fun snagged a significant win with an 8-1 victory over Ghs Giants as they became the early league leaders. Pints FC also started the season on a high note, edging out Philippines FC 2-1 in a tightly contested match right until the final whistle.

The first week of the Newbury Monday football league has set the stage for an exciting season ahead.
