New Portchester Monday 6 a side season kicks off!

As the floodlights of Portchester Monday Football League lit up the pitch yesterday, it marked the beginning of what promises to be an exhilarating new season. The teams in Division 1 kicked off with high-octane games that saw an impressive display of skill and determination.

DIVISION ONE

The night saw Ugly Ducklings emerge as early leaders in the Division 1, securing a resounding 10-3 victory over Benson And Hedges. The Ducklings managed to display an impressive combination of excellent ball control and attacking prowess, putting their opponents on the back foot from the outset. The Benson And Hedges, despite their loss, showed moments of brilliance and will be looking to bounce back in the upcoming matches.

In the other high-scoring clash of the evening, Ruud Van Nipplejoy edged out Chfc 8-5 in a match that was a true test of grit and determination. Both teams fought tooth and nail until the final whistle, reflecting the competitive spirit of the league.

The highlight of the evening, however, was the superb performance by Ryan, who found the net an astounding four times for Ruud Van Nipplejoy. His impressive skill and knack for finding the goal will undoubtedly make him a player to watch this season.

These early results have set the stage for what seems to be a captivating season of football in the Division 1 of the Portchester Monday Football League. With two more teams joining the league from next week, it remains to be seen which team will rise to the occasion and secure their spot at the top of the table.
