Portchester Monday 6 a side news - match day 4

The Portchester Monday 6-a-side Football League witnessed an electrifying fourth week of the season. The teams of the Division 1 battled it out on the pitch with an extraordinary show of skill and teamwork.

DIVISION ONE

In a thrilling match, Chfc edged out Ruud Van Nipplejoy with a scoreline of 4-3. Chfc's brilliant display of attacking football was sure to have kept us on the edge of our seats. The game was a true testament to the athletic prowess and strategic planning that has come to define Division 1 of the Portchester Monday League.

Another match saw Fulcrum FC emerging victorious against Unavailable Albion FC in a closely contested battle. The scoreline being 2-1, was reflective of the intense competition that the game entailed.

The highlight of the evening, however, was the performance of Louis Jones of MK Bongz. Jones topped the goal-scoring chart for Division 1, finding the back of the net twice, further cementing his reputation as a formidable striker. His excellent form and goal-scoring ability have certainly set the stage for an exciting remainder of the season as they won the friendly game this week with No Pace Eggs away.

As we approach the mid-season mark, the Portchester Monday 6-a-side Football League promises more excitement, competition, and high-quality football. The teams of Division 1 continue to display immense passion and grit, setting the bar high for the weeks to come.

Thank you to Dan for running the evening and to all of our players. There is no league next week due to Easter bank holiday. We return to action on Monday 28th April.
