Swan Lake come out with the victory as top two meet

Some high quality football on show at Portchy 6 a side last night. All teams attended apart from Flat Top VI who did let us know but at short notice, they will be returning next week. Thank you to Total Messi plus a couple of others for staying on to give Paula United a match.

Onto the football now and the top two met in the Premier League in a match high on quality as champions Swan Lake came up against a strong AFC Baldham side. We saw a end to end match with Swan Lake eventually coming out on top with a 4-2 victory to send them 4 points clear of Baldham at the top. Just a point behind Baldham now are Total Messi and Stinging Rogers who played out a tight 1-1 draw. In the other match Big Show caused a upset to move up to 5th and send Line Up Lads into the drop zone with a 5-2 win over them.

In Div 1 the top two Smurfit Kappa and Up the Gull are running away with it as they both won again yesterday and both still have 100% records at the halfway point of the season however all will change next week as they come face to face in what is being billed as a title decider. Last night Kappa secured a 3-0 win over What Happened? while Up the Gull beat Victor Moses Lawn 4-0. In the other matches Lucky Dip beat Chocolate Ba's and Corn Eto's 4-1 while Kalou had a points match win, thank you to Chocolate Ba's for staying on. The good news is we have a new team starting in the league next Monday to fill the space in Div 1.
