An excellent night of 6 a side once again at our Portchester Thursday 6 a side league at Portchester Community School. All teams were in attendance as match day 5 took place.
At the top of the Premier League Sergio Gameos Lee are flying high and looking to stay there as they won 4-0 against Stroke Titty with goals from Jack 2, Sam and Alan. MK Bongs moved up to second with an impressive performance against Wanyama's In Pyjamas as they ran out 7-0 winners. A hatty from Reece along with braces from Owen and Taylor. HMS St Albans captain Chris also hit a hat-trick as they defeated Who8AllThePie 5-0 while Sam Stoddart scored all 7 as Happy Sunflowers won 7-2 against Sigurdsson's. Josh and Jake with the two goals for Sigurdsson's.
In Div 1 the main focus was on the top of the table clash between Haven't Got A Kalou and Pants. The game proved to be as tight as expected with Kalou holding on for a 2-1 win to make it 5 wins on the bounce. Joe and Ethan R the scorers for Kalou. Lads On Toure took advantage of the loss for Pants to rise above them into second with a 5-0 victory against Jimmy Floyd Bottle Bank, Wall, Green, Andrews and Bonnici all finding the back of the net for Toure. After a poor start to the season Foxes Forest made it back to back wins as they won a end to end match with Weight Watchers 3-2. Albie Scottney struck twice while Jamie Edmonds got the other for Foxes. Gall and Hatton responded for Watchers. Finally Chicken Tikka Taka finally got that first win they've been craving after some close matches recently. Helped by Portchester goalkeeping legend Danny Brooks the boys picked up the points with a 2-0 win over Fenerbackache to get off the mark for the season. Top effort, always good to see young teams sticking at it.
Thank you to all our teams and our match night supervisor Dave along with refs Mike and Con. See you all next week for match day 6. Thanks Rich
