EPIC GAMES IN WEEK TWO OF PORTCHESTER SEASON OF 6 A SIDE

Our Thursday night 6 a side teams were in action again last night with week two of our new season serving up some brilliant matches.

We did have a few teams missing which is always frustrating but those that were there treated us to some excellent football.

Premier League champions Sergio were put through their paces by Chicken Tikkatakka in a thrillong contest that was only settled by a single goal margin. Sergio edging it 3 - 2 but fair play to Chicken Tikka for having a good crack. AFC Purbrook took a 5 - 0 win from Happy Sunflowers who were missing and The Six Offenders finished an absolute classic game with Sigurdsson's U14's with a well earned point. 4 - 4 the scoreline in this one to leave Siggy's 3rd and to give Six Offenders their 1st point. 

In Div One it's max points for Law Abiding Sigurdsons as James Pain were missing and so gifted them a 5 - 0 win. The other two games in the division were both compelling draws, COB FC going toe to toe with Abella Rangers to finish 3 - 3 and Sum Ting Wong getting a well deserved point against Lads on Toure in their game that ended 1 - 1

So it's all very tight early on with teams jostling for position in the early weeks of the season, big thanks to everyone for being involved and especially to Mike and the team for managing match nights for us as always.
