NEW DIVISION UNDERWAY IN PORTCHESTER

The steady rebuild of our Portchester leagues took another positive step last night with the introduction of 4 new teams to our Thursday night set up. Mike, Al and Mark - our new team of officials welcomed SUM TING WONG, ABELLA RANGERS, WRECKSOME U12's and MARADONA KEBAB to the league with the new sides forming a mini 4 team division two which will end at the same time as our other divisions before merging into the full line up. Sum Ting Wong and Abella Rangers both came away with wins in what was a great start to this Thursday night expansion. We aim to continue to expand this league and welcome any other new teams to get involved. You can register now to be part of the new season which kicks off on 9th Feb. The prem results show a solid 5 - 0 win for Sergio who lead and a 6 - 1 win for Lads on Toure while in Division One it was Chicken Tikkatakka and Happy Sunflowers who came away with the points as they won 4 - 2 and 4 - 1 respectively. 

Well played to Sam Stoddart who bagged all 4 of the Sunflowers goals this week.

Thanks again to everyone for being there, there is a really positive vibe about this league again which is great to see. Hopefully this is the start of a brilliant year for the Portchester set up.
