It was a miserable night weather wise however there were some great matches at our Portchester Thursday 6 a side league with all teams in attendance apart from Chicken Tikka Taka who had to pull out at late notice, however thank you for letting us know and getting your match fee paid on time still, much appreciated. Also tonight was Dave's first night as supervisor and Al's as permanent ref so big thank you to them.
We start in the Premier League where some of the promoted sides are giving it a real go so far but it was long standing title winning team Sergio Gameos Lee who returned to top spot after a 2-0 win over Wanyama's In Pyjamas. Alan and Sam scoring the goals as Sergio went above Who8AllThePie. Pie went down to their first defeat in the Prem in a fantastic game with MK Bongs with Bongs coming out of it with a 6-5 win. New team Sigurdssons U14s look more than capable of mixing it in the Premier League as they took a share of the points in a 1-1 draw with Stroke Titty, Jack Small scoring for Titty will Charlie R replied for the new boys. HMS St Albans under new captaincy won 4-1 against Happy Sunflowers to move up to 4th, Connor Riley with a hat-trick and Chris with the other for St Albans. Overall some great games in the Prem and no absolute mauling's so good to see.
Haven't Got A Kalou remind me a little bit of my team Norwich, to good for Div 1 but not got quite enough to stay in the Prem. It's good to see the Kalou lads winning again though and they rose to the top of Div 1 with a 5-1 victory against Weight Watchers. Jake Rose with a hat-trick to add to strikes from Sam Edge and captain Robbie Stilwell. Pants drop to second after a 1-1 draw with Jimmy Floyd Bottle Bank. Neil Thorpe was on target for Pants while Keiran P scored for Jimmy Floyd. Foxes Forest won for the first time this season as they defeated Fenerbackache 5-0, goalscorers in this one were Albie Scottney 2, Graham Holden, Steve Goodwin and Scott Ponsford. Finally Lads On Toure won a points match with Chicken Tikka away.
Thanks to all our teams on another damp night and to our match night supervisor Dave along with our refs Al and Con. See you all next week for match day 5. Thanks Rich
