NEW SEASON OF 6 A SIDE IN PORTCHESTER

We launched our brand new season of 6 a side in Portchester last night with a new set up of 2 divisions of 6 teams and things got off to a great start with some excellent matches. Champions Sergio got their title retention campaign up and running with a 7 - 2 win over Full Kit Wonkers before giving Happy Sunflowers a game. Sunflowers took the points with St Albans having a very rare week of poor availability. Who8 and AFC Purbrook both left with a point having played out a 2 - 2 draw to occupy the middle places in the table after one game. 

Chicken Tikkataka started the strongest of the new Division One teams, their 7 - 0 win over Portchester Athletic came courtesy of a Ryan Morgan hattrick, backed up by 2 each from Jake Burden and Tom Burnett. Lads on Toure also got off to a flyer, winning 6 - 0 against Pants with 6 different players opening their goal scoring accounts for the season. One of the favourites to go up this season must be Sigurdsson's U14's and they got up and running with a 6 - 3 win over BSC Hung Boys thanks to 3 goals from Sam Moore, Del Smith got 2 as did Zak Goodyear for BSC but it's Siggys who take the points in this one.
