PORTCHESTER 6 A SIDE - THURSDAY

We signed off 2021 in our Thursday night 6 a side league at Portchester last night with a great round of matches. Great work from some of our captains to get teams together after the inevitable Xmas parties and Covid issues threatened to mess up the evenings games but most got sorted so well done to everyone for being there. 

We break now for 2 weeks and return on Thursday 6th January. Anyone looking to join us in the new year can register now and be guaranteed top spot on our waiting list when we restart in a few weeks. 

6 A Side Portchester | Leisure Leagues

Last nights games saw premier league wins for Weight Watchers and Who8AllThePie. Weight Watchers getting the better of Lads on Toure 7 - 2 while it was a 2 - 1 win for The Pie Eaters against Stroke Titty. HMS Albans took the points as MK Dongs were away, as did Sergio Gameos Lee with Happy Sunflowers also missing. 

We had a full turn out in Div one and the goals flowed with leaders Snows in great form, winning 9 - 1 against Jimmy Floyd thanks in part to a hattrick from Andrew Elliott. Sigurdsson's go into the new year in 2nd place, winning 5 - 2 this week against Wanyama's while Haven't Got A Kalou were too strong for Foxes Forest FC, coming away with a 6 - 2 win and a hattrick for Alex Warwick. Finally it was Chicken Tikkataka that took the points from thie game with Pants. it finished 8 - 2 with a hattrick from Joe doing much of the damage to lift the Tikkataka's out of the bottom two for Christmas. 

So thats it for 2021, big thanks to Dave, Con and Al for managing the night and to all our officials for their efforts this year. We hope you all have a good break and can't wait to welcome you all back for the restart of the season on 6th January.
