Let's just say it was a little bit of a wet night everywhere last night including at Portchester 6 a side however all but one team was in attendance to play match day 9's fixtures. Unfortunately and unexpectedly Happy Sunflowers pulled out at the last minute but will be back next week and have apologised and paid their match fee.
At the top of the Premier League Sergio Gameos Lee made it nine wins on the bounce with strikes from Ben Kerr 2, Jack Mitchell 2 and Charlie Steele in their 5-2 win over a strong Stroke Titty side. Roach On Toast sit second as they were awarded a 5-0 win due to Happy Sunflowers not being there. In other results Viking FC moved up to third with a 5-2 win over Denbigh Elites while AFC Baldy took the points as the bottom two met as they won 2-0 against Chicken TikkaTaka.
HMS St Albans continue at the top of Div 1 as they produced an excellent performance on the night to beat Sands 12-2. Haven't Got A Kalou kept up the pressure on St Albans as they beat Wanyama's 5-2. Joe with a hat-trick plus strikes from Jake Rose and Alex Warwick for Kalou. Third place Pants also won to stay a point off the promotion places as they beat Who8AllThePie 4-2. Jimmy Floyd Bottle Bank stay level on points with Pants as they also won 4-2, their victory coming against Foxes Forest FC.
Thank you to all teams and see you next week, hopefully it won't be so wet!
