All 16 teams were in attendance down at our Portchester Thursday night 6 a side league. All 8 matches were competitive with no hammerings being dished out which is always good to see.
Sergio Gameos Lee are one win away from securing another Premier League title as they shared the goals round during a 6-3 win over HMS St Albans. Woods, Steele, Nesbitt, Birmingham, Moore and Mitchell all found the back of the net for Sergio while Rhodes hit two for St Albans on top of a strike from captain Kissane. MK Bongs are up to third as they defeated second place Stoke Titty 3-1. Captain Taylor Smith scoring twice to add to a goal from Muldrew. Jack Small was on target for Titty. The bottom two met and the game didn't disappoint with Lads On Toure holding on for a 4-3 victory against Haven't Got A Kalou. Andrews bagged a brace for Toure with captain Vinnie Wall and George Green also scoring. In reply Kalou had Neil, Burns and Rose to thank for goals. Sam Stoddart wasn't hanging about as he fired in 5 goals to send Happy Sunflowers on their way to a good 5-2 win over Furzey FC. Cornish and Duffin with Furzey's goals.
Wanyama's are just a point away now from the Div 1 title and they continued their fine form with a 6-4 win against Weight Watchers. TJ scoring 4 while Ray hit the target twice, Sell also chipping in. Dinsmore banged a hat-trick in for Watchers while Parry got his name on the scoresheet too. Bradbury and Thorpe scored the important goals to seal a 2-1 win for Pants over Foxes which sends them into the second promotion spot on goal difference. It's getting tight up there now with 3 teams level on 13 points. Who8AllThePie are another one of those teams and they had a relatively comfortable night beating Chicken Tika Taka 4-0, all 4 goals coming from Joe Neely. Finally Fenerbackache made it back to back win as they secured another 2-1 victory this week beating Jimmy Floyd Bottle Bank. Captain Jackson Davies with both goals while Ben Milford scored for Jimmy Floyd.
