Portchester Thursday 6-a-side Football League: WEEK 6 RESULTS

The Portchester Thursday 6-a-side Football League witnessed another thrilling week of action yesterday as teams from the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 clashed on the pitches at Portchester Community School. We were treated to a display of skill, determination, and sheer brilliance from the players.

In the Premier League, AFC Purbrook showcased their prowess as they outclassed debutants Hallin Garden Services with a resounding 9 - 1 victory. However, the standout performance of the division came from Sergio Gameos Lee, who dominated the field with an impressive 11 - 1 triumph over Lads On Toure. Bailey Steele emerged as the top scorer of the Premier League this week, netting an impressive hat-trick for Sergio Gameos Lee.

Meanwhile, Division 1 witnessed some intense battles as BSC Hung Boys secured a hard-fought 2 - 0 victory against The Six Offenders. Happy Sunflowers also emerged victorious, defeating Pup657 with a convincing 4 - 1 win. Cob took a points win following the late withdrawal of Sum Ting Wong. 

In Division 2, Wallington demonstrated exceptional skill, overpowering Cross Keys FC with an 8 - 2 win. Star & Garter FC also displayed their scoring prowess, securing a 7 - 2 victory against Maradonakebab. Dylan Hartley stole the spotlight in Division 2 with an outstanding performance, scoring an impressive four goals for Star & Garter FC. In the final game, Netsix lined up against Pants and it was the visitors who took home the spoils with a solid 4 - 2 win.

The Portchester Thursday 6-a-side Football League has consistently provided a platform for local talent to shine, and the matches this week were a testament to that.
