Portchester Thursday 6 a side news | WEEK 5

In an exhilarating display of football, the 5th week of the Portchester Thursday 6 a side Football league saw some impressive performances from teams and players alike.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, Project Zeus was outplayed by AFC Purbrook, which turned out to be one of the most riveting matches of the evening, ending in an 8-2 scoreline. Not far behind in terms of excitement was the match between Receding And Conceding and Sergio Gameos Lee, which ended 6-3 in favour of Sergio Gameos Lee. Bumfica managed to secure a 4-2 win over The Six Offenders, while Borussia Donmund defeated BSC Hung Boys 6-4 in a nail-biter.


The star of the Premier League was Kieran Walker of BSC Hung Boys who netted 3 goals, topping the scoresheet for the week.


DIVISION ONE
In the Division 1, stalemate was the order of the day between Packet Of Qrwisps and Cathys Crew, with both teams failing to find the back of the net. Maradonakebab and Pants shared the spoils with a 3-3 draw while Portchy Royals dominated their match against Man Tity, winning impressively with a 9-3 scoreline. Gyattlatasary emerged victorious over Cob Fc with a 4-2 win.


The Division 1's top scorer turned out to be Lyle Croft of Portchy Royals, who scored a remarkable 4 goals.


But the highlight of the week was the exceptional performance by Leo Sichel of Gyattlatasary, who was declared the most valued player of the week. His brilliant playmaking and decision-making skills were a sight to behold and were instrumental in his team's win.


Football fans are eagerly awaiting the 6th week of the Portchester Thursday 6 a side league, where the players will be looking to build on their performances and the teams will be keen to climb up the leaderboard.
