Portchester Thursday 6 a side news | WEEK 5

In an exhilarating week of football, the Portchester Thursday 6-a-side league saw some action-packed matches that kept fans on the edge of their seats. The high-octane week five fixtures brought out the best of the teams, leaving the audience thrilled.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, Project Zeus emerged victorious with a captivating 7-5 win against AFC Purbrook. The game was dominated by Dan Lambe of Project Zeus, who displayed a marvelous feat of skill and precision, scoring a whopping 6 goals, securing his spot as the top scorer of the division.


The Six Offenders showed their dominance in their match against Bumfica, clinching a landslide 7-0 victory. Bumfica, unfortunately, were unable to break through The Six Offenders' solid defence, leaving them goalless at the end of the match.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Cob FC managed to eke out a narrow 2-1 win against Borussia Donmund. However, the highlight of the division was Connor Smith of Fourintina, who scored an impressive 3 goals in their 4-2 triumph over Cathy's Crew, bagging the top scorer position in the division.


DIVISION TWO

Division 2 witnessed a goal fest as Brexit Ballers 2 overwhelmed Maradonakebab with an impressive scoreline of 10-3. Ben Payn was the star of the match for Brexit Ballers 2, netting 3 goals, and was crowned as Division 2's top scorer. Gyattlatasary and Marlon Packet also put on an exciting show, with Marlon Packet edging out a 5-4 win.


With the season in full swing, the thrilling on-field performances and the spectacle of goals have set up an interesting run into the upcoming weeks of the Portchester Thursday 6 a side league.
