The thrilling week 7 of the Portchester Thursday 6-side Football league played out last night, with teams battling it out for dominance in the Division 1 and Division 2 leagues.
In Division 1, Project Zeus emerged victorious with a resounding 5-0 victory over AFC Purbrook, showcasing their dominance on the field. The Romasexuals edged out 6 Man Step with a 4-2 win, demonstrating their resilience and determination. Sergio Gameos Lee's 4-1 triumph over Havent Jota Clue was a testament to their superior strategy, while Happy Sunflowers outmatched The Six Offenders in a closely fought 2-1 encounter. Lewis Shan of Project Zeus stole the spotlight in Division 1 as the top scorer, netting an impressive total of 2 goals.
In Division 2, Expected Toulouse FC fell short against Borussia Donmund with a 2-4 scoreline. Cob FC obliterated Maradonakebab in a staggering 10-0 match, leaving no room for doubt about their prowess. In another high-scoring clash, Bumfica outshone Pants with a hefty 9-2 victory. BSC Hung Boys emerged as winners against Gyattlatasary in a tense 4-2 game. The star of Division 2 was Joe Nicklin of Cob FC, who bagged a total of 4 goals to become the top scorer of the week.
