PORTCHESTER THURSDAY NIGHT 6 A SIDE LEAGUE THRIVING

Our Thursday night 6 a side league in Portchester is back at full speed with all of our 12 teams out in force last night. Sergio are still out in front after an 8 - 4 win over Full Kit Wonkers, Bailey Steele netting 3 with brother Charlie among the other scorers. For Full Kit it was Matthew Page and Owen Claydon on target in a spirited effort from the 2nd placed side. Who8AllThePie won too and remain 3rd, picking up the 5 - 2 win against AFC Purbrook thanks to 2 goals from Harvey. We also witnessed a brilliant 3 - 3 draw between Happy Sunflowers and COB FC with Hawkins striking twice for Sunflowers while Joe ensured a point for his team with 2 for COB who pick up their 1st point of the campaign. 

Division One offered up some good if slightly more one sided games with comfortable wins for Siggurdssons, Chicken Tikka and leaders Lads on Toure. Siggys win was to the tune of 6 - 1 against BSC Hung Boys with goals from George Hare, Charlie Crockford and Ryan Burgess while Max G netted a couple in Lads on Toure's 5 - 1 win against Pants. Chicken Tikka's win was the biggest of the night, putting 8 past Portchester Athletic without reply as Ryan Morgan ran in a hattrick to ensure his side remain 3rd in the table. 

Big thanks to David and Con as well as Ryan for covering the ref duties this week. We now have a weeks break as the venue is having some work done so will return on Thursday 13th October.
