Thank you to all teams down at our Portchester Thursday 6 a side league last night.
At the top of the Premier League the reigning champions Sergio Gameos Lee came face to face with leaders Viking FC looking to secure a win that would take them back to the top of the table. The champions produced an impressive performance to defeat Viking and climb back to the summit with two weeks of the season to go. In other matches 3rd place Stroke Titty met 4th place Happy Sunflowers and there was no separating them as the match ended in a 2-2 draw. There was also a 4-2 win for HMS St Albans who overcame PPS 4-2.
Onto Div 1 and top of the table Roach On Toast opened up a 3 point lead at the top with a narrow 2-1 win over Portchy Pantherz. Moving up in to the promotion places are AFC Baldy who kept a clean sheet and put 4 past Haven't Got a Kalou. In other matches there were welcome wins for the bottom two sides as Pants beat Jimmy Floyd Bottle Bank 3-0 while Foxes Forest kept it tight at the back and scored at the other end to beat top half team Wanyama's In Pyjamas 1-0 and dent their promotion challenge.
