Great to see all 16 teams out in force on an indifferent night weather wise in Portchester.
It's going down to the wire in the Premier League as Sergio Gameos maintain their 2 point gap at the top with just two games to go this season. A Charlie Steele hattrick saw them run out 7 - 1 winners against 3rd placed Stroke Titty and in doing so take a huge stride towards winning the title. MK Bongs aren't done yet though and they also made a bit of a statement going into the final weeks with a 12 - 2 win over Wanyama's in Pajamas, an incredible 8 goals for Reece doing most of the damage and keeping the heat on Sergio Gameos. Sigurdsson's U14's earnt two much needed points in their relegation fight as they overcame Happy Sunflowers 3 - 1 to move within a point of the 6th places Sunflowers. HMS St Albans got the better of Who8AllThePies 5 - 2 with Chris scoring a hattrick for his team.
In Division One the title is safely in the hands of Lads on Toure who's 5 point gap at the top is now to much to be caught. They had to work hard for the points this week though with a narrow 2 - 1 win against Jimmy Floyd Bottle Bank while their nearest challengers, Weight Watchers went down 7 - 6 to Foxes Forest FC. Albie Scottney netting 6 for the Foxes while Harry Mack got 3 for the Weight Watchers side that sadly saw their title chances disappear. They can still gain promotion though and are favourites to do so with a 6 goal advantage over Pants who they are level on points with. Pants won this week with a single goal from Bradbury enough to take the points from Haven't Got A Kalou who will want to bounce back in the hope of still securing promotion over the final two weeks themselves. Chicken Tikkataka won the battle of the bottom two this week as they scored 9 against Fenerbackache. Lewis Lofting got 3 for the Chickens but they remain 7th, four points behind Jimmy Floyd ahead of them.
So thats it on a great night for Lads on Toure, congrats to them and thank you to David, Con and Al for running the night smoothly.
Big shout out to all the captains and players too for being organised and communicating your availability, it makes such a difference not leaving things to the last minute.
Have a great week gents, roll on next Thursday.
