It was a chilly night down at East Cowes 6 a side on Sunday as we played our last round of matches before the Christmas break.
Back to back Div 2 and Div 1 champions Hardly Athletic sit top of the tree at Christmas in the Premier League as they won 10-3 against Mataz, Golden Boot winner James Gallop was at it again with 4 goals while George Johnson also grabbed himself a hat-trick. OMO Utd rose to second after a points match win while Bacon Sane won 6-2 against Applepie Turnovers with braces from Davies, Hatton and Dunkling. Zidane's also had a points match win with Butcher and Harris with strikes as they played OMO.
Div 2 champions Gylfi Pleasures are looking strong in Div 1 as they won 7-2 against OFOB Strollers to make it two wins from two, they will be looking to make it back to back promotions in the new year. FC Union Street also have two victories on the board as they defeated AC Me Rollin 6-4. A Tony Pearce double helped Vectis Rovers on their way to a 5-2 win over We Lose Every Week, Vectis also stayed on to play Muga in a points match with Info Dynamo's away.
Bacuna Matata sit top of Div 2 as new signing Billy Chugg scored 4 times to help seal a 6-1 win over Sancho's And Cheese to send them top on goals scored. In second place are Neville Wears Prada who comfortably won their match against The Gym 5-0. The other two matches were both close and ended 4-3 to the away sides. Lads On Toure travelling to Khedira to record their first win of the season while Badder Roma won against Touch Matip.
