East Cowes Sunday 6 a side gets underway!

EAST COWES SUNDAY 6 A SIDE SEASON KICKS OFF!

As the floodlights illuminated the pitch, the first week of the new season of the East Cowes Sunday Football League commenced with plenty of action. With close-knit matches and top-tier performances, Division 1 witnessed several highlights sure to set the stage for the rest of the season.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Six Offenders outperformed Badder Roma produced some stunning moments to seal a 9-4 victory. Not to be outdone, Khedira Pin Drop had the same winning scoreline against Inter Yer Nan, showcasing an impressive brand of attacking football. The tightest contests of the night saw AC Me Rollin' and Robbin Ma Koch edge out Le Saux Solid Crew and We Lose Every Week respectively in 7-6 thrillers.

Nyash Wanderers stole the show, firmly establishing their dominance in an 11-2 victory over Muga V4. Brad Cantelo from Nyash Wanderers was the star performer, named the week’s most valued player. His tireless efforts and crucial goal contributions played a significant role in the team's commanding win.

With that, the East Cowes Sunday Football League has kicked off what promises to be an exhilarating season. As the teams regroup for the upcoming week, we can expect another round of high-intensity, skillful gameplay. Keep your eyes on the pitch; this is only the beginning.
