East Cowes Sunday 6 a side news - match day 11

The East Cowes Sunday Football League continued to deliver an exciting spectacle in Week 11, with high-scoring matches and standout individual performances. The action in Division 1, left us eagerly waiting for the next match day.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, leaders Getafe Me Mason put on a dominant performance with an 8-2 victory over second place Nyash Wanderers to move 3 point clear at the top, Brad Austin helped his team seal the win with a hat-trick. Inter Yer Nan and Badder Roma engaged in a pulsating goal fest, with Badder Roma taking the spoils in a 10-5 thriller, Max Hawkins was the top scorer this week with 4 goals for Roma. 

The match of the day was arguably the intense battle between We Lose Every Week and Khedira Pin Drop. The thrilling encounter ended 4-3 in favour of Khedira Pin Drop, but not without a fight. We Lose Every Week put up a valiant effort, with star player Ben Jefferies earning the Most Valued Player of the week award for his dazzling performance although Lincoln Barsdell was on fire for Khedira with a hat-trick.

The highest scoring game in Division 1 saw AC Me Rollin' outclass Muga V4 with a commanding 11-1 victory. Jacob Jenner and Steven Deakin both scoring hat-tricks.

With these results, Division 1 continues to be highly competitive. We can eagerly look forward to more thrilling matches in the coming weeks as teams vie for supremacy in the league. The performance of standout players like Ben Jefferies and top scorer Max Hawkins will also be closely watched in the upcoming matches.
